Samantha Farish
Majors: Political Science & Psychology
Hometown: Cookeville, TN
Class of: 2014
Favorite role: P closing
Samantha joined mock trial in the fall of 2009. For reasons she still doesn't comprehend, she played a character witness all year long. Fortunately, the next year she suited up and took her spot at counsel table, armed with a healthy dose of appreciation for those who succeed on the witness stand. Samantha co-captained her team to a Third place finish in the Faith O'Reilly Division at the National Championship Tournament in 2012. Samantha served as President to the organization in 2012-2013.
When she isn't mocking, Samantha enjoys putting off her Honors thesis, taking road trips, and baking. In the spring of 2013, she interned for the Tennessee State Legislature and reaffirmed her love and fear of politics. She plans on attending law school when she graduates, with the hopes of one day becoming Ruth Bader Ginsburg. If law school doesn't work out, she'd be happy with any job that involves getting paid to talk while wearing a suit.
